Oak Dining Table and Bench

$4,400.00
Sold

This beautiful dining table is made from Red Oak and White Oak with accents of Sapele Mahogany.  Traditional jointing techniques were used throughout. Not a single metal fastener was used.  All parts were assembled with mortise and tenons, dovetail joints and fluted dowels for lifetime stability and strength.  Rubio Monocoat was used for the finish because it provides exceptional protection against spills and other tabletop mishaps while still giving you the natural feel of the wood. All other finish products that provide that kind of protection have that slick, plastic feel.

The table is 10 feet long and is accompanied with a bench on one side. The client is going to use chairs on the other side and on the ends. She originally wanted a more rustic table made from Pine, but I told her that using a soft wood like Pine would make a dent every time something was dropped on the tabletop. And with a growing family her table would soon become more rustic than she could imagine.

I would love to build you a dining table like this or a similar one incorporating your own design elements. Contact me and we can discuss creating a custom dining table for your home.
