Kitchen Cutting Boards
I love making cutting boards because it allows me to use small pieces of wood left over from other projects. I have made dozens over the years and just about everyone I know has one in their kitchen. Each one is made with the same care and skill I use in all my projects. Each piece in every cutting board is carefully selected to make a color and grain pattern that is pleasing to the eye. Every piece is attached to the adjoining piece with biscuit joints and waterproof glue. This makes for a strong joint that will never come apart. Each board is finished with food grade mineral oil to make it safe and water resistant. The only upkeep on these cutting boards is an occasional light rubbing of mineral oil. A small bottle of mineral oil is included with each cutting board.
Price will vary depending on the size. A 12 by 16-inch board would run about $55. A 9 by 13-inch board would run about $45.
